Buyer’s Agent

Looking for just the right vessel? We search broker and private party listing from all over the country to find just the right boat for you. We can act as your buyer’s agent so as to secure the very best deal for you. We are with you every step of the way. From finding the right boat for you, to the survey, to the sea trial and all the way to the closing. We put our vast marine experience to work for you so that you’ll be happy with your purchase. And as your buyer’s agent, there is usually no cost to you for our services. All fees for our buyer’s agent service are usually paid by the seller or the seller’s broker. Talk about a sweet arrangement.

Broker

Have a boat you need to sell? Don’t pay some broker a 10 % or higher commission. Our standard commission is a flat 7.5 % on all our brokerage services. That translates to an extra 2500 bucks in your pocket after the sale of a 100 K vessel. And the big brokerage houses may have hundreds of boats in their listings, therefore they’re just not able to give you the personal service that you need and deserve. Additionally, guess which vessel they try harder to sell. A 2.5 million dollar yacht or a $50,000 trawler. Well let’s do the math. 2.5 million x 10% commission equals a cool quarter of a million dollars in commissions. $50,000 x 10 % equals $5000. Hummmm...let’s see……. I’ll bet more effort and emphasis is placed on the high dollar yacht than the trawler. At Gulf Marine, you’ll never, never be treated as a second class citizen. We value your business and do our very best for you, because we want your business again in the future, and we want you to think of us for all your marine supplies, equipment and services, and we want you to recommend us to your friends. After all, everyone knows that word-of-mouth advertising is the best you can get.

Want to be your own broker? We can help with that. We are a member of a yacht broker network that allows us to advertise your vessel on some 20 different websites including here on the Gulf Marine website. For a one time fee of $199, we’ll get your boat’s photos, description and contact info in front of thousands of potential buyers from all over the world. One of the great aspects of this program is that the ad runs on all the sites until your boat is sold. And the network is growing. In just the last 12 months, the network has added 9 new websites and expects to add twice that in the coming year. Email us for more info on this great program.
